The End Of The Affair

So, it all comes down to tonight. We've spent 10 weeks wading through the jungle of BB12 misfortune. We suffered harrowing night after night of doldrum nothingness. We watched as the love of our lives slipped through our fingers like boring tasteless tap water. I used to pine for Big Brother. I once scratched at it's door and peered through it's peephole taking pages upon pages of scrupulous detailed notes. That love affair is over now. I no longer stalk my BB12 twitter feed. I don't think I once clicked on Jokers all season long. In all honesty, I've just waited... impatiently... for today.

So here we are. Finale night. Truthfully, I'm more interested in who wins America's Choice than I am with who wins the entire season. The interesting people left too soon and the uninteresting overstayed their welcome. We're left with three morons who wax poetic all night long about the fame and fortune that'll never come. How I would love to see their faces when it hits them that all their dreaming and fantasizing was all for naught. Maybe one by one they'll read this here little blog and I can help them all come to their mushy dulled senses. I don't know. *shrugs shoulders*

I know I slacked off this past week, but, seriously, can you blame me? I'm only human. If I were some superhero with powers to repel boredom, I might have stuck it out and blogged the inane conversations taking over the house the past few days. I fear I am not that strong. I am weak and I have since found another lover. Survivor is it's name and that's where all of you lovely readers can find me every Thursday - at the Bitchy Survivor Blog. On Mondays you'll be able to enjoy my rantings over at the Bitchy Amazing Race Blog. While Big Brother may be over, my heart, much like the Titanic, will go on. I will continue to find reality people to ridicule *shakes fist to the sky* so help me god.

I want to thank each and every one of you for checking back here daily, commenting, and generously supporting this blog. You guys make it all worthwhile. If you haven't already, please join the Bitchy Network and take part in discussions about all sorts of wonderful and ridiculous TV shows. If anything scandalous goes down in Vegas, I'll be reporting it all at the Bitchy Network. My spies are in place and gossip will be bountiful. With Ass Licker and Hyena Fuckface in a room together, sparks are bound to fly.

Thanks for the love, the hate, and the laughs. I'll see you next year to do it all over again for BB13.

Love and other indoor sports,
Colette Lala

  1. Thanks for keeping us entertained throughout this boring season, Lala.

  2. Thanks for entertaining all summer long! If I could, I'd vote for you for America's Choice.

    You rock, Lala.

  3. I don't think any past winners of BB, besides Dr. Will and Evel Dick (maybe Dan), have really been memorable or relevant past their seasons. I think that'll be the case here too. They'll become the answer to a trivia question, and nothing more.

    It's not goodbye, it's just...See ya later.

  4. Thanks Lala for the entertainment all summer long! It was a hideous season but you make it well worth our time. I fully support you writing a book and entertinaing us for all time. Thanks again for all your hardwork to keep us happy. I'll write a note to CBS recommending you to become a part of their team.

  6. Thank you for keeping me awake this ridiculous season.
To show my appreciation, here is a link to Ebay for a "Team Enzo - Meow Meow" T shirt, selling for $15 (buy it now!).
Notice the seller has any size available, both men and women! He must have made boxes of them that are sitting in his garage.
Also notice the number of feedback comments the seller has - 28! Dig further, and you will notice that 27 of those are from people that he has bought FROM.
Yes, that's right, there is 1 feedback comment from a buyer of the guy selling "Meow Meow" T-Shirts. However, this buyer did not buy a T-Shirt, He bought NASCAR Tickets.
Yes, it seams not ONE "Team Enzo Meow Meow" Shirt has been ordered or shipped.
    Justice!

  7. Bryan, thanks for all the info. Too funny! As I really don't want to promote the sales of these t-shirts, I'm going to decline your second post with the link. Nothing against you at all, I'd just rather not give it any publicity. I'm sure you understand.

  9. Love BB12 in black. So appropriate. Looking forward to Survivor.
    Go Britney for AC!

Enzo, go home and get a job (not entertainment related)!

  10. Now that they've confirmed that Britney's house was severely affected by a fire, I hope more than ever she wins America's Choice.

This season, your Blog was hands-down the highlight of anything Big Brother related, and I'm including the actual show in that, lol. Thank you so much!

  11. Thanks for the entertaining, witty, intelligent posts. You are Pulitzer worthy.

  12. Britney was so deluded about Lane, Hayden, and Enzo on tonight's finale. I wanted to shake her and take the AC award from her since she was proving she wasn't a strong enough woman to win it. Oh, Lane, I always knew you were a good guy, batting her eyelashes. Britney, sug, I bet you that there are also DR clips where he says that he's taking the brigade to the finals. There are certainly clips where he says he's taking Enzo. And he told Hayden. Hell, DR probably had him make clips both ways -- like Russell in Survivor last year about whether he won or lost season 1!!

  13. LaLa, thanks for the blog. It truly was the best part of this slow BB season. You made it funny and expressed all my feeling accurately. Hopefully next year will be better. I look forward to coming back to your blog then.

  14. Thanks for everything, Lala. See you at TBSB.

  15. I don't know... How many BBxx do we have to get before it just isn't worth it? Is the pool of reality tv show idiots dwindling to where all we have left is mouth breathing shaggy mama's boys? All I heard all season was the same tired lingo over and over out of their mouths "back door" " social game" "floater" "it's nothing personal" they are just spewing it to the point that it is just a boring script. I think CBS needs to kill it. Put it out of it's misery and come back with something new!

  16. To Anon 1:50 AM. I, too, agree w/you that it was so tough to see CBS show that "staged segment" proving (we're not stupid, we watch the feeds)Lane wanted to take Brit. It was NEVER the plan. Did you see the look on Enzo's face? He wanted to say, "Yo, you people don't know nothin', yo! Bra-Gade!"
But I disagree that she should have the award taken away from her. We, who voted FOR her were rejecting the slackers-and Enzo, who rode on the coattails of the other 3 members of the Brigade. His delight in slicing Brit to pieces, and then acting so concerned for her afterwards was vomitous!
I am enjoying knowing that Brit garnered more cash than Enzo. I hope he takes his stipend & buys some strong soap to wash out his mouth so baby Gia doesn't have to hear his foul mouth all her life.
During the BY interviews, Enzo was still full of it, he thinks he'll star in a Deniro movie, blah, blah, blah.

  18. Believe it or not, the Survivor Blog takes much longer to write. It usually goes up in the afternoons. I'm working on it now. I'll send out tweets and facebook updates when it's ready.

  21. CoLa... I know you don't usually post links, but has anyone found Backyard Interviews with Evil Dick? I usually enjoy his and cannot find them.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciated you sticking through this season and blogging. I will be on TAR and Survivor blogs with you. Even if I don't post every time, I DO look forward to reading your blogs each and every time! You make the show and should be on CBS payroll!!!

  22. CBS refused to let past HG's do interviews. It was a last minute thing.

I'm posting updates from the Vegas Bash at the BN.

  23. This goes for everyone: Check the BN regularly. I'm not going to be updating Twitter or Facebook with every piece of gossip I get. Any piece of info I get goes directly to the BN. Several tidbits came in last night. More to follow.

  26. Colette, Just a quick thanks for helping me discover a new show, I truly believe you should be working for CBS. The last 3 weeks I have been away and I did not see the finale until yesterday, as if any other outcome would have happened. The animal - please. I will be back for more of my daily dose of Lala.
    All the best.
