What A Surprise Dot Com

In case you missed the Big Brother Gossip Show last night, you can check it out on iTunes (search "Big Brother Gossip" and click on the effeminate lilac icon) or catch it HERE

In addition to our unbiased and impartial (Ha!) analysis of the house tomfoolery, we awarded two lucky winners... TWO!... with official Big Brother t-shirts. And after all of our usual hijinks and comedic genius was said and done, Mike (@BBGossip) gave yours truly an amazing surprise that affects this here little bloggy blog. The rascal actually almost made me cry, but I did the pageant fanning the face thing and kept my tears at bay. It was very Gracie Lou Freebush.

Agree or disagree, snarl or cheer, but always have a good time and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS dunk your tits in glitter.

I anticipate a slow week ahead of us in the house, but I'll try to pop in around Tuesday or so with a blog update. Thanks again everyone for listening! And if you haven't yet, what are you waiting for, heathens?!

  1. I think those BB guys, they need some vitamins or supplements, or something. Very odd behavior.

  2. Saw a rumor I'm sure is BS, but a girl can always hope. The rumor is that in the luxury competition that Amanda won a prize (in the balloons) that is the Diamond Power of Veto. That would almost be as awesome as www.collettelala.com !!

    1. It's a joke. Amanda joked to McCrae about hiding the Diamond Power Of Veto in the shower.

While that site you mentioned is probably fantastic, this one (spelled correctly) www.colettelala.com is even better!

    2. ahahaha. well, at least I spelled it right in my browser--my chrome already has you memorized. ...Yeah, I figured the DP-Veto thing was a joke... Damn. Thx, bitch!

  3. Here is a question for your next pod cast.
Why? Is it horrid to use the N- word and ok for Amanda to keep saying the C-word.
Also I loved, how bothered you all are about Aryns exit interview, but ok to trash HGs on your pod cast. Judge mental much!

    1. I think the N-word is universally frowned upon. I would personally never use it. I'm quite fond of the C-word though and use it time to time myself. The Brits love it too.

As far as me being judgmental, you bet your sweet ass I'm judgmental! I have never claimed not to be.

    2. It is never ok for any disrespectful language. Adults know this. Language is power and if you have to resort to using derogatory verbiage to describe people then one is likely stuck in an 8th grade mental state. BB15 is full of these Jr High geniuses this year - it is almost painful to watch.

    3. Words only have the amount of power that the person listening to them give them. for you, or any other easily offended person, a word may have huge meaning. to someone such as myself, my mother taught me "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." There are far worse things to be offended by in life than a word. Time to grow up.

    4. I think your mother may have given you poor advice if you think words will never hurt. My guess your mother would have not wanted you to say hurtful words to others. Hurtful words will stay with you much longer than a broken bone. It not as much about offense (receiver) as it is respect of the one offering the words. My point was in this year's BB spiteful damaging words have been used to belittle others rather than playing a smart game. Those saying the malicious words will have to contend with those words as long as there is video of them saying it. Words HAVE effected lives and livelihood of several of the BB players. Yup, words can hurt.

    5. Perhaps if people such as yourself didn't give such power to those words, you would feel more like myself, where they don't bother me. Call me whatever you want, I'm confident in myself enough that they don't bother me. Words are only powerful if you make them powerful, they are only as sick as the sickness in your mind makes them. They still are only words, grow a sack and get on with it instead of crying about it and hoping people feel sorry for you. Life goes on. Everyone gets called names. Everyone gets bullied. Some people mature, while some people keep crying and complaining about it.

  4. I understand that in real life you probably have a job and lots of responsibilities but...but...but I need more blogs. I really do. Please right another blog. You are hilarious and I don't care that you are biased (we ALL are when it comes to our BB picks!) and your views and commentary on everything are SO FREAKING FUNNY! Please keep up the good work and try (try!) to do more updates for those of us who are starved for hilarious literature. Thank you!!

    1. Agree!! Have just found this site and am loving your posts...but have not gotten a new one. :(
Im new to BB, watched the last quarter of 14 and got hooked. This is my first full season. I can't believe how angry and vicious BB fans are if u don't root for the same person as them. Is it always like this??

  5. I also love the C-word and use it whenever I can.

I don't love how CBS handled Aaryn's exit interview. A bit harsh, which wouldn't be so bad, but I don't feel that GinaMarie will get the same treatment that is deserved.

  6. I have used the c word and gotten in trouble for doing so. I admit it bothers me to hear males using it as a slur--for much the same reason African Americans hate the N word. Using female anatomy as a slur, when many men are violent towards those who possess it, is so much uglier than calling a guy a "dick.". It's true for the t word as well--it's offensive for one who does not have one to use it as a slur. It's a power thing. One girl to another, who cares? A man to anyone, not so harmless. Maybe gay men are not so threatening using it, but big gross creepy guys like Spencer? Horrible. I cringe.

It was weird to hear guys start using that word on BB15, when trying to bond with other guys. Like, I can be as ugly toward women as you can... We never heard Dr. Will use that word, did we? He was smart enough that he didn't need it. These guys? They need it.

And I think the women used it so guys didn't get the idea they could use it in an Evel Dick attack on them. When I was in law school in the 70s, I had to get super good at cussing so that both professors and other students could not use that to intimidate me. They certainly tried! I practiced cussing in my car driving to school so the words rolled off my tongue...it worked too. Other women were bullied to tears over language in cases for example.... So the women on BB15 get a pass from me.

I love your blog sooooo much! And the podcast--only found you a few weeks ago--but you have made being an Amanda fan fun again. Elissa fans have become so horrible in their judgmental attacks. Reality goes out the window. It's like a female Taliban. You are a funny respite from this preposterous attack army. Thank-you so much! I love you!

  7. I just watched Sunday night's show. When is CBS going to do a true edit about Elissa? All the mean girl conversations between GM and Elissa over the past two weeks and they showed none of it. They even edited Amanda and Elissa's answer to Julie question last week in favor of Elissa, like we didn't see the original responses. Thanks for your blog and podcasts, always enjoyable.

  8. That was very sweet of Mike. I always suspected he was the nice one ;-). And PS...what is the "t word????

  9. Lala... please post more... I'm having separation anxiety. I didn't bother posting on your last blog because it was full of self-righteous replies.

STFU you delusional people! It is a TV SHOW. It will not affect your life, your families lives, your money, your job, your love life (if you actually have one), your religion. If your favorite wins do you get paid out? If your favorite loses are you going to be a raging lunatic at work or at home? Will you need to go to your doctor for some therapy? If so, I feel sorry for the people dealing with you in real life then.

GET REAL! Stop with the hate wars.

The FANatics out there are ruining the season for many bloggers and it is taking away my entertainment. I'm cheap... during the summer I don't go to the theater, I rarely go out to dinner, I don't go out of town if I can avoid it. No... MY entertainment (and my husband's too) is watching the feeds, reading the blogs - ESPECIALLY THIS ONE - and enjoying the scamming, backstabbing, lying, bitching, and GAMEPLAY. Yes, sometimes some of the things said makes me cringe. Mostly I feel bad for the HELL these houseguests will have to endure from the Holier Than Thou fans. They are the ones that put themselves out there for our entertainment... they are the ones that pay AND now their families.

Bottom line... you don't like it... turn it off. You don't like what you read... don't click the link. If you don't like green eggs and ham... find something else to eat.

Get off the cross. Someone needs the wood. And BACK OFF Lala and the other bloggers.

    Thank you so much!

    1. The house is kinda boring and all the interesting stuff takes place after I go to sleep. I only write about what I see. If I'm going to waste my time, I'd rather waste it watching Big Brother Australia instead of Amanda's demise.

  10. One more thing... if etiquette is your thing; maybe Big Brother isn't. I have a suggestion though... Emily Post has an academy that you can find at http://www.emilypost.com/ and she has 16 posts about bullies. It might be more your speed.

A pebble can shatter glass just as much as a boulder can; the difference is a pebble needs higher speed to do so. Are you perfect or do you live in a glass house? Truly perfect "good" people don't behave this way.

Me... well... I'm a bitchy Honey Badger and I don't give a (watch your virgin ears) FUCK.

    Love you Lala!

  11. As it looks now. Elissa changed her mind. Now she wants to keep Amanda but rat Andy ran to the exterminators (the worse four floaters ever to make it to the final four if all goes as planned). So now it looks like Andy & Judd will vote out Amanda. Ellissa & McCra to vote out Spencer. This leaves us with a tie & up to GM to split the votes. She's pretty good at splitting those legs, so I hope she gets confused (this happens very easy for GM ) & she votes put Spencer by mistake. I can't handle a final four of floaters, so I will take Ellissa, Amanda, McCrae with one of the remainder floaters as the final four any day of the week. I hate hate hate this cast but would hate anyone of the exterminators winning any of the money at the end.

I'm also going through blog withdrawal. If nothing else write about what your perfect BB season would be. The types of people in the house, some new comps, hell decorating the house for next season. Things you wouldn't do & things you would bring over from BBUK, BBAU, BBCA or BB WONDERLAND. The things that would make BBUS perfect in your eyes. I'm tired of this staged shit we have to watch now. I want to watch some real raw BB comps, nasty fights, comps just to earn a bed, everyone starts off on slop & you earn real food. Cold showers, no clock in the house & when you break a rule you actually get punished.

  13. Someone once told me about 'hits' on blogs. The less this bitch writes, the more 'hits' on this site. How many have checked this site multiple times to see if glitzy bitch has written anything? I enjoy reading your recaps but it's time to get off your cunt and get back to a regular schedule.
